NIO EC6

There is no need to wait for innovations from the Coupe EC6. We can say that this is a stream project. The platform of the electric car completely repeats its predecessor ES6, which debuted in early 2019.

The platform is characterized by the presence of two electric motors on each axle and, accordingly, all-wheel drive. The battery pack is placed as standard on the bottom under the seats and is protected by plastic. The suspension is completely independent of the MacPhersons in a circle. The rear struts are reinforced due to the installation of a more powerful engine.

For power units, Nio EC6 2021 will offer two complete sets.

In front there will be an alternative train with 218 hp at 610 Hm.

At the rear, either similar to the front, or a more powerful 326 hp engine at 715 Hm. That is, one layout in total will produce 436 hp, and the second 544 hp.

The outlines of the EC6 body are similar to the American counterpart, but there are also their own chips. It is immediately clear that the designers of Nio honor the traditions of minimalism in the world of electric cars. This applies to both exterior and interior decoration. However, there is no need to talk about perfection.

In comparison, the electric car did not get the most successful front end. It is quite high, which is why the front wings received a high "wave", the rolling trunk ends abruptly, showing a small nose, but immediately a curb with a semblance of a radiator grille and intricate fog lights is formed at the bottom. Whether it was a successful decision or not, sales will show.

On the side, the EC6 also does not pretend to be solid. Plastic body kits and bulging arch protection a priori do not add chic to cars. Yes, both the design features and the scope of the electric car do not explain their presence in any way.

The feed received an interesting design of the rear dimensions. There was nothing else interesting here either. Additionally, the body is worth noting the presence of a panoramic roof, and the charging socket is located on the front fender on the driver's side.
