BYD e5

The BYD e5 electric car has been produced in China since 2016 and is sold only on the local market. The car is offered to private clients, as well as state structures to taxi companies. The BYD e5 sedan is based on the BYD F3 model, which in turn is largely copied from the Japanese Toyota Corolla. An electric motor with a capacity of 218 hp (160 kW) is installed on the car, and a lithium-phosphate battery with a capacity of 43 kWh is located under the bottom. The claimed power reserve on a single charge is 305 km.
