The Chinese company Aiways has officially announced the export of its U6 crossover to the European market. About it writes the publication Car News China. According to media reports, the car will be available in six EU countries: Germany, France, Spain, Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland.
U6 appeared on the domestic market in October this year. Its basic configuration in China costs about 220,000 yuan ($30,500). In Europe, the price of a car varies by country. So, if in Germany an electric car costs about €45.5 thousand (about $47.9 thousand), then in Denmark for U6 they ask for 380 thousand Danish kroner (almost $54 thousand).
The car is built on the MAS electric platform. The power of the power unit is 217 hp. and 315 Nm of torque. From zero to “hundreds” U6 can accelerate in 6.9 seconds. The power reserve of the crossover varies from 505 to 590 km, depending on the configuration. The manufacturer has added a fast charging option, which increases the battery charge from 30 to 80% in half an hour.
There are practically no physical buttons in the cabin of the U6. The developer installed a 14.6-inch touchscreen display, as well as a wide 8.2-inch dashboard. An audio system with 15 speakers is responsible for the sound in the car. In addition, the car is equipped with a safe driving system, traffic jam assistance, lane change assistance, and narrow road protection.
Also, the electric car received a panoramic roof, which blocks 99.9% of ultraviolet radiation and does not let in 78% of external heat.
