Skoda CITIGO e iV

SKODA CITIGOe iV is the first fully electric car of the Czech manufacturer. With a length of 3597 mm, the zero-emission urban speedster is ideal for urban areas.

As the first production SKODA car, the four-seat city car is equipped with a 61 kW electric motor. This means that the CITIGOe iV is powered not only by a battery, but also does not create any emissions. The 36.8 kWh lithium ion battery provides a power reserve of up to 265 km in the WLTP cycle - this means that the CITIGOe iV is optimally adapted for the city.

Zero emission, nimble and spacious, despite its compact size, the SKODA CITIGOe iV is the ideal vehicle for modern cities. Despite the length of only 3597 mm and a width of 1645 mm, the smallest car from SKODA also offers a spacious interior for four passengers and a trunk capacity of 250 liters. You can easily increase the trunk to 923 liters by folding the rear seats. The CITIGOe iV with front-wheel drive is the first fully produced electric car by SKODA and is equipped with an electric motor with an output power of 61 kW. The maximum torque is 210 Nm, which is relatively high due to the drive concept and is typical for electric motors. Thus, a short interval from 60 to 100 km/h takes 7.6 seconds, and the CITIGOe IV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 12.5 seconds. The maximum speed is 130 km/h.

SKODA CITIGOe iV is powered by a lithium ion battery with a capacity of 60 Ah / 36.8 kWh. The battery in the chassis floor has dimensions of 1.1x1.7 m and a height of only 0.3 m. The battery consists of 168 cells and has a power reserve of 265 km in the WLTP cycle. When the power runs out, the battery can be charged up to 80 percent in 1 hour using a CCS (Combined Charging System) charging cable connected to a 40 kW DC fast charger.

When using a 7.2kW wall-mounted AC unit, the battery is charged 80 percent in 4 hours or 12.5 hours using a 2.3 kW home charging station. The combined charging system and the cable required for AC charging are included as standard and are an option for the SKODA CITIGOe iV Ambition. If this charging option is not available, the SKODA CITIGOe iV battery can also be charged using a standard household outlet.

SKODA offers the CITIGOe iV exclusively as a 5-door in the Ambition and Style trim levels. The first SKODA electric car is noticeably different from the CITIGO models with internal combustion engines, especially in the front. The typical SKODA radiator grille is painted in body color; the front bumper underneath has also been redesigned. The standard equipment of the car includes fog lights and LED daytime running lights. The indicators are built into the wing mirror housings in black or painted body color. As with other models of this brand, the inscription "SKODA" in block letters on the rear door of the car.

From the outside, the CITIGOe IV can also be identified by the CITIGOe badge on the back. SKODA CITIGOe iV Ambition is equipped with 14-inch steel wheels as standard, including Indus wheels and 165/70 R14 tires. Two-color 16-inch Scorpius alloy wheels with black inserts and 185/50 R16 tires are supplied as an option and as standard for CITIGOe iV Style. Scorpius wheels are also available in silver. In terms of coloring, there is a choice of four standard colors - Candy White, Tornado Red, Sunflower Yellow and, exclusively for SKODA CITIGO, Kiwi Green. Metallic colors Deep Pearlescent Black, Crystal Blue and Tungsten Silver complement the range of finishes.

Interior with new dashboard

The interior of the SKODA CITIGO has also been redesigned for the iV version. The black dashboard and the area above it - black at the Ambition trim level and silver in the Style models - have been redesigned. Standard equipment includes electric front windows, Climatronic, remote-controlled central locking, Swing II radio and a Move & Fun smartphone dock on the dashboard. With the Move & Fun app, the mobile phone can be used as an additional display for vehicle data, for multimedia playback, or as a navigation system. In addition, CITIGOe iV comes with new mobile online services for the application, allowing remote access to the battery or air conditioner. In addition, the CITIGOe iV is equipped with a Lane Assist system as standard and is equipped with front airbags, as well as head and chest airbags for the front seats.

The Style trim level comes with exterior lighting on the dashboard, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors, and a Leather Detailing package that includes a leather steering wheel, gearshift lever and handbrake lever. The front seats are height-adjustable and equipped with high-quality fabric covers; the door handles have chrome decor. There is an option of a Comfort package offering heated front seats, four additional speakers and a parking sensor in the rear. The winter package is also exclusively available for CITIGOe iV Style. In addition to the heated front seats, a heat-insulating windshield and rain and light sensors are also included, including an animated "Arrival/Departure from Home" function. The list of options also includes an adjustable fake trunk floor.
