Honda Clarity BEV

The Honda Clarity BEV is an electric version of a Japanese car created in a sedan body. In 2016, the manufacturer announced that it did not stop only on the Honda Clarity fuel model and a year later, in 2017, it released an eco-friendly model. This car can accommodate 5 people, it has a lot of functions in its arsenal, including premium class. It is designed for people who prefer convenience and comfort.

The basis of the transmission is represented by an electric motor, functioning thanks to the battery. Its capacity is 25.5 kWh. The engine power at the same time reaches 161 hp, which is 20 units less than its plug-in hybrid counterpart.

According to the EPA standard, the mileage is 143 kilometers, which is 89 miles. If we talk about the maximum torque, here it is 300 Nm. The driver can gain speed from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds.

If desired, you can charge the car in different ways, the charging time will also be different. If you use an on-board device with 6.6 kW of power, the driver will spend about 3 hours, provided that the network is with a voltage of 240 V. By choosing a fast charging station, you can replenish the battery charge up to 80% much faster – in just 30 minutes.

Visually, the electric car is very similar to its plug-in hybrid version. The differences are that this model has instrument panels characteristic of this type of car. Among the features of the electric car, one should also highlight the original blue color, the unique wheel trim and the design of the front part of the body. The trunk of an electric car is considered quite roomy. Its total volume with open seats is almost 400 liters. At the same time, the dimensions of the electric car are as follows: length – 4895 mm, width – 1877 mm, and height – 1478 mm. The wheelbase is 2751 mm, and the weight is 1825 kg.

There is enough space inside: five people, including drivers, can comfortably sit on the seats. The interior trim is made of environmentally friendly materials of high quality.
